Delft Blue is the symbol of the Golden Age. The VOC brings back ships full of Chinese porcelain from Asia, the first source of inspiration for Delft Blue! Smart Delft entrepreneurs transformed the Asian porcelain into a real Dutch icon. The Golden Ages showed their status through interior design, fashion and wall art. One of the greatest admirers and collectors of Delft Blue was Mary Stuart II. She became an ambassador for Delft Blue through the large collections in her palaces in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The new collector’s item is therefore named after this important lady. Proud Mary is a collection of collectibles that represent all the craft of Royal Delft.

The figurine is composed of four different elements; skirt, body, collar and head.

The collection consists of large, hand-painted shapes and smaller variants decorated with a screen print.
